Their playlist in the barn. A wireless mic on the lawn.  Levels from the iPad.

The welcome reception was Saturday night, September 5, 2026, at The Inn at Manchester.  Inside the barn: two speakers and a sub, playing a playlist they had designed.  Outside: two more speakers, and a wireless handheld when it was time to talk.

We ran it from a Yamaha DM3 at the tech table.  When someone picked up the mic on the lawn, the levels came off an iPad on that desk — so the speeches sat in the mix instead of fighting the playlist.  The drape stayed up.  The night stayed a reception.
