Southern Vermont Arts Center — Manchester, VT — September 12, 2026
The night was already red. We took it through the trees.
On Saturday, September 12, 2026, Southern Vermont Arts Center held its Beaux Arts Fête, the annual fundraiser, this year honoring Grace Potter and Dona Ann McAdams. Sabrina Dommenge designed the night, and the color she chose was red. She wanted that red to keep going once guests stepped outside, so we set eighteen wireless uplights into the trees between Yester House and Arkell Pavilion. The allee carried the same color as the rooms they were walking toward, and after dark those fixtures were what held the theme on the path.
Sunset was at 7:07. The uplights were live from 5:00, which gave the trees time to read before the light left, and we struck at 11:00.
